By simply observing someone you know well, you can quickly link their level of happiness to their interest in others’ positive outcome. They are probably almost free of self-judgment and judging others in general.
There is external happiness, our joyful reaction to hearing from someone you like, to laughing at a joke, to appreciating achievements, celebrations etc. In contrast, true happiness has no reason and is linked entirely to how we feel about ourselves in general. This individual possesses an outward energy that is enviable and they shine naturally.
While we all learn how to judge, some people will have taught us to only judge, and so we learn the benefits of this, biggest one of all is: no-one comes close. Then there is the judging type which is even worse: self-judging. Usually due to being judged for no good reason during the early years of life, or having endured this from someone we respect.
It is important though, to know, that every one of us, should make the true happy state, a part of our life lesson wishlist. This list then, are ideas of cultivating and expanding our mindset of ourselves and of the world:
- to learn to like ourselves, for no reason,
- to learn about ourselves without expectations, for no reason,
- to learn to set others free from our expectations, for no reason,
- to love ourselves, for no reason,
- to encourage ourselves, and others, for no reason,
- to support ourselves, and others, for no reason,
- to listen, for no reason.
Wake up every day in gratitude, feel where your arms are, and the comfort of your head, connect right away with your eternal physical mate, your clever body. Any person that pops into your thoughts, wrap them up in love, for no reason. Send thanks out to how amazing this day is.
Be kind to yourself, so you can be kind to others.
